Rachel McGill

Rachel McGill
Rachel McGill has 22 years of leadership development experience that began when she was commissioned into the army at 18 years old. At 23 she became the youngest Captain in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps and during her eight years in the Army she worked with the UN in Angola and was part of the three-woman team that broke the world record for the fastest circumnavigation of the globe in a car.
Rachel left to work with young people doing vocational management training and during that time began working as a change leadership consultant for different organisations.
For the past 12 years Rachel has developed her own consultancy practice specialising in building resilience in leaders; The tools and techniques she and her team have developed help leaders get a clear sense of who they are and what they do, how this helps and hinders them and what they can do about it.
She helps leaders to:
- Generate a clear sense of direction and purpose.
- Unify others by building commitment, ownership and trust.
- Build an ability to see and take opportunities.
- Create an inner strength that they and others can draw on when faced with obstacles and challenges.
- Know and believe in who they are and what they do.
